Regulator of depigmentation Meladul

Acts as a regulator of cutaneous depigmentation, helping to restore normal levels of melanin in melanocytes,  favouring repigmentation of white patches in vitiligo treatment.

Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is an enzyme found in the human body and is the most potent of natural antioxidants.

It is present in the internal and external cell membranes and plays an important role in reducing oxidative stress and free radicals.

In depigmented skin, deterioration is observed in the antioxidant system in the melanocytes. Meladul, based on superoxide dismutase, helps to reduce the oxidative stress in these cells, improving appearance and favouring repigmentation.

Meladul Regulator Gel contains three important active ingredients:

•  PF Dismutin^®. It has antiradical and anti-inflammatory activity and inhibits lipid peroxidation. Superoxide dismutase (SOD), the active ingredient in PF DISMUTIN® is one of the most stable and fast-acting enzymes in nature. SOD eliminates superoxide free radicals that cause cell damage and destroy melanocytes.
• Calcium chloride. An external supply of calcium normalises the deficit of this mineral in melanocytes (pigment-producing cells of the skin).
• Vitamin E. An antioxidant that protects body tissue from the damage caused by free radicals.
